Role Description
To develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies that enhance Jalpha Health’s brand presence, engage healthcare stakeholders, and drive awareness of digital health transformation in Africa.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Create and manage content across all social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
  2. Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with business objectives
  3. Build and maintain relationships with healthcare influencers and industry leaders
  4. Monitor and report on social media metrics and campaign performance
  5. Create engaging multimedia content (graphics, videos, infographics)
  6. Manage online community engagement and respond to social media inquiries
  7. Coordinate with marketing team to ensure consistent brand messaging

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years experience in social media management
  • Proven track record of growing social media presence and engagement
  • Excellent content creation and copywriting skills
  • Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms
  • Understanding of healthcare industry trends and digital health landscape
  • Strong visual storytelling abilities
  • Fluency in English; local language proficiency is a significant advantage
